Travel grants for trainees and young scientists

We are happy to announce that the Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF) will provide a number of Travel Grants for trainees and young scientists to attend the 17th International TNF conference at Asilomar Conference Center (June 3-7, 2019). 

 You must submit an abstract and register to qualify. Upon registration and abstract submission, send an email to indicating that you wish to be considered for this award. Selected grantees will be notified by mid-April and funds provided soon afterwards.

Information on the ANRF:

The Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF) is a California-based leading Medical Foundation. ANRF funds innovative research in Arthritis, Rheumatology and Autoimmune Diseases and promotes a number of key initiatives in the disease space (further described below). Grant-making is the core function of the Foundation. Every year, research grants are selected through a competitive process by world-renowned physician-scientists who conduct NIH-level review to identify the most meritorious applications. Many of the ANRF grant recipients went on to make discoveries that advanced the field and led to better treatments.

Biomedical Research Grants

Fund groundbreaking research in Arthritis, Rheumatology and Autoimmune Diseases conducted by talented MD and PhD professionals at prestigious institutions. This is critical for filling knowledge gaps, identifying new therapies and finding long lasting cures.

Scientific Symposiums

Convene top minds in scientific research and clinical care to collaborate and cross-pollinate. Information sharing is a key component in accelerating the discovery process and improving the quality of research and clinical care.

Education and Awareness

Disseminate the latest news in Arthritis, Rheumatology and Autoimmune Diseases through free newsletters, webinars, fact sheets and other digital and print mediums. Access to accurate and concise information to stay up-to-date is needed in a constantly changing medical field.

Research Travel Grants

Facilitate the direct access of young trainees and scientists with limited resources to participate in professional meetings and publish their work. This is indispensable for sharing ideas, receiving feedback and sustaining the pipeline of new talent entering the field of Arthritis and Rheumatology.
